about this websiteThis website was designed by Shannon Dobrow. Shannon designed this site in early 2010 as a sophomore majoring in graphic design at SCAD-Atlanta (Atlanta Campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design). Shannon was asked to provide a clean professional looking design to present a large volume of visual and written content. Her approach focused on a fixed page that did not scroll. The home page visually introduces the top level spectrum of photography applications. Shannon advocated using a slide show approach to present multiple images associated with page content. She designed scroll-down menus to facilitate "1-click" navigation to almost any page on the site. A top-of-page menu showcases the multitude of photography applications. A bottom menu organizes company information. Shannon developed the graphic design using Adobe Photoshop CS3. The design was implemented and programmed by Sam Dobrow. Sam used Shannon's design to build a template in Adobe Dreamweaver CS3. The navigation system is developed using CSS which is easily reconfigured as business needs dictate. Sam used Adobe Flash CS3 with Actionscript 2.0 to develop the slideshow and audio players. The page viewer reads a list of images from an XML file to facilitate quick updates of visual content. The visual and verbal content was conceived, developed, organized, and implemented by Sam Dobrow. Sam manages the website. |
